Breathable tape for outdoor use provides waterproofing and moisture discharge, while vapor barrier tape for indoor use blocks vapor and retains heat. What is the Window waterproofing tape ?

Window opening tape is a special sealing product used for the joints between doors, windows and the main structure. It is used together with waterproof breathable membrane and vapor barrier membrane to prevent rainwater intrusion and hot and cold air condensation, and to reduce building energy consumption.

There are two main types:

Breathable window tape for outdoor side

Vapor barrier tape for indoor side

It can be constructed by self-adhesive or glue type. Interface agent can be used to improve adhesion. The overlapping length should not be less than 10cm, and the corner width is 1-1.5 times the gap between the main frame and the window.
