How the Membrane Works

This Air Permeable Breather Membranes adopts micro pore screening and vapor-transmission technology. The membrane structure contains countless microscopic pores. Liquid raindrops and dew droplets are typically much larger than the membrane's micropores, while surface tension further limits liquid water penetration. In contrast, much smaller water vapor molecules are only about 0.0004 μm in size and can diffuse outward through the membrane when a vapor pressure difference exists between the interior and exterior sides.

Its S-shaped embossed texture enhances material toughness, shrinkage resistance, abrasion resistance and slip resistance, helping reduce the risk of damage during handling and on-site installation.

● Low Temperature Flexibility: Retains ≥5% elongation at -40 °C, reducing risks of brittle failure in cold environments.

● Chemical Resistance: Offers good resistance to common acids, alkalis and selected chemical media, subject to specific concentration and exposure conditions.

● Biological Resistance: The material is engineered to resist common biological degradation and sustain stable long term performance within building envelope applications.

● Durability & UV Aging Resistance: Has undergone accelerated UV and high temperature aging testing. Relevant test documentation is available upon request. Equivalent to up to 6 months of UV exposure under the specified test conditions*.

● Flame Retardancy: Classified as B2 according to the applicable Chinese classification requirements.

● Recyclable Material: Manufactured using recyclable polypropylene based raw materials, supporting more sustainable material selection in building projects.
