The moisture barrier for exterior walls is a polymer composite tight barrier material specially installed on the warm-inboard side (interior thermal side) of exterior wall and roof insulation layers (the inner side of the building’s insulation assembly, close to the indoor space). With a dense, low-permeability composite structure, the membrane helps prevent warm, humid indoor air and water vapor from penetrating into insulation layers, greatly reducing the risk of interstitial condensation inside building envelopes. It integrates excellent vapor resistance, water impermeability and tear resistance, delivering stable and reliable barrier performance.

This moisture barrier for exterior walls is typically used in matched combination with an exterior waterproof breathable membrane installed on the outer cold side of the insulation layer, forming a coordinated moisture-control system based on interior vapor control and exterior moisture release.
